Question Wierd errors


I was running gaim in the bg and i got the following errors:

esd: Esound sound daemon already running or stale UNIX socket
/tmp/.esd/socket
This socket already exists indicating esd is already running.
Exiting...

I've been trying to get my soundcard to work but it hasn't been to cooperative. Could someone please let me know what's going on?

Looks like you've got the Esound sound daemon running already and Gaim was trying to use (initialize?) it .. if Esound isnt running i'd try removing the file /tmp/.esd/socket and trying to start Esound again ..
