Why Sonic RecordNow needed for 10.1 install?

I have the three CDs for 10.1 installation, each one labelled Mandrakelinux- 10.1-Official-Download -CD1, 2 & 3. I want to create a dual boot alongside XP. I insert CD1 in the drive, it starts with "Preparing to install.." but then shortly after asks me to "Insert the Sonic RecordNow disk and click OK". I really don't understand this, don't have a Sonoc RecordNow disk anyway, and can't find anything about this in the 10.1 installation docs. Whats happening? Thanks.

I have never heard of "Sonic RecordNow". ???

Did you verify your iso md5sums before you burned your disks? Did you verify the disks burned correctly? All I can think is that you somehow got a bad CD burned.
