Why redhat 8.0 can not detect NTFS ?
 
I can't mount my XP ntfs into redhat, why?
in mandrake, i can do it.
how to solve this problem ?

You have to re-compile and install a new kernel with NTFS support. Red Hat tends to stay away from proprietary technology, (e.g. mp3, NTFS) and does not enable NTFS support in their kernels. Mandrake has less of a stance on the issue, that is why NTFS support is in their kernels.
