why my RH box boot automatically

my system started reboot by itself recently, sometimes it boot couple times a day, sometime it boot once a week, this is what I see in the last log:

reboot system boot 2.6.18-8.el5xen Tue Jun 9 00:27 (1+21:22)
reboot system boot 2.6.18-8.el5xen Tue Jun 9 00:21 (1+21:28)

Any one know why the box is rebooting itself? is there a way to stop this? Thanks in advance.

From the two lines you gave us? Wizards Did It.

But seriously, you'll have to give us more information; the environment the machine is in, what happens near the machine (or even on it) around that time of day, what the machine is used for, the distro on the machine.

Give us all the info you have, we can't help with two lines

Since I am pretty new to linux, thought it would be something pretty obvious to experts.

here is the uname output:

Linux cluster2.rock 2.6.18-8.el5xen #1 SMP Fri Jan 26 14:42:21 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

There shouldn't be anyone using the system at that point of time. The system is hosting an web application, which shouldn't be used at the time either. It shouldn't be power outage either because other servers on the same UPS are not rebooted.

Thanks again for your help.

Well, the kernel version means its RHEL 5 with Xen capable (virtual env) kernel running.
The system name seems to imply its part of a cluster..?
If so, could be a cluster/quorum issue.
You could check /var/log/messages, or any other relevant logs.
Do you have a support agreement with RH?

it was planned to be part of a cluster but we haven't actually set it up yet. so other than the name, it has nothing to do with any cluster.
