Why my computer is putting screen shot all over when fedora 8 starts

I had installed fedora 8 and I like it, but it works very well until it performs the update from the net. After that, it starts to put on the screen, the image of the screen over and over, and I can't stop it. What can I do? Can you help me? Thanks

Can you be more clear on the symptoms? From what I can get from your post, it sounds like there's a problem with your video driver. It might help if you include the brand/model of the video card/chip you are using in your computer, along with the driver your machine is using.
