Why mii-tool is not initiating in RHEL6.0 on VM image?

Newly i got installed rhel6.0 on VM image,butmii-tool is not initiating in my VM image.can someone tell how to fix this problem.

ethtool is used widely in the linux distributions.

However miitool is not outdated, but superseded. According to the net, it still can handle some older NICs that ethtool can't.

In your case the opposite may true.

What do you mean by "not initiating" ?

The command is : 1) su 2) /sbin/mii-tool
Or : 1) su - (su<space><hyphen>) 2) mii-tool

i mean mii-tool, the one which is not opening in rhel6.0. Any how it's an outdated one now instead of that we can use ethtool, isn't it?
