Why is OpenMoko's FreeRunner's /dev/snd/dsp not working?
 

hi all：
I'm trying to do something with OpenMoko FreeRunner(with Android)'s audio device.

I log in through serial shell as root user.

$ls /dev/snd

there is devs:
dsp, adsp, pcmC0D0c , pcmC0D0p, pcmC0D1c, pcmC0D0p and so on

$cat xxxx >　/dev/snd/dsp

shell give a msg saying :"cannot create /dev/snd/dsp"

anyway, this dev does exist!

I can play ogg files with android's music player, so can anyone tell me what's wrong with my FreeRunner?

and, there is another thing I have to tell,
$cat xxxx >　/dev/snd/dsp
I once have my FreeRunner beeping noise, but later , it didn't work.
