why is my language not changing to english again in linux mint?

ijust downloaded the packages for hindi in my new os linux mint and instlled it ,and then again wen i am trying to get back the default english language,few things come up in english and some others in hindi..i want everything back in english again...
kindly help.

I think you will need to set a 'default language' via your control panel, or whatever your system uses.
