Unhappy Why is my fresh install of Linux Mint 64bit Cinnamon v19.0 EFI randomly freezing?

Swappiness=10 following advice default was 60

The problem persists! Is this LTE edition fatally flawed with some comments stating an impatient wait for Tessa v19.1?

Purpose of this install is to run virtualbox with Windows 10 Pro 64bit as guest OS, This then to run individual sessions with:
Reaper 5 sound engineering post production
Ableton Live live session mix
Blender animation
hollywood compositing and lighting app
UK based non-linear video editing app
photogrammetry 3D app
open ended with guest sessions being exported to a reference library

Help! Are there any suggestions of a fix having been found to what appears to be a generalised issue? Has it been reported? Has the response to the official bug report(s) been received and is it a solution?
Sorry, obviously clueless here!

Have a read of this - also note the following section. Then you'll know how to check for bugs yourself.

Thanks for the help. The CMAX value for my Intel N3530 was 9, this falls within the scope of a bug with the refresh, recovery from suspended state as described via the "this" hyperlink above. I have edited the config file for GRUB, setting the CMAX value to 1 instead, GRUB had to be refreshed to update the new value and my system was then rebooted to show the new CMAX value! Since then, so far no further random freezing.

However there is an unexpected side effect that the LED laptop display is flickering and this is a real problem for graphical work and much worse for anybody with photo-reactive Epilepsy.

I do hope there is going to be a specific fix for this in MINT 19.1 since I have not experienced this with any other 64bit OS prior to returning to MINT from 17vX Rosa LTS. Clearly Microsoft have had an early workaround from Intel.
