Why is my ATX cabinet not working?

I have an ATX cabinet and my machine runs Windows 2000 Professional and Red Hat Linux 7.2.When I configured the APM feature from Linux the box was not powered off automatically from Windows. Now I've made a few configuration changes from Linux (which I don't remember) and the machine is not powered off even in Linux.
What can I do to restore the Automatic Poer off in both my os's
