Why I have two users?

When I log into the X server, I type who and why I have two users?
Is it a virus?

Who are the users?
Unless you installed a virus, it's not a virus (unless you let someone crack the system and install a virus).

Depending upon how you check, it might make sense.

If you're coming from a remote location, that can cause duplicate who entries also.

Under the TTY column, you should see what the issue is. If you could post that, that would be cool.

Best wishes,

I believe if you use a GUI login manager (GDM, KDM, Slim) that is perfectly normal.

I use my local machine and the users are all the same, it is me with different uid... I think I use the GDM so is it normal to have two users?

That makes sense if you're logged in and running the GUI
