Why does my system reboot every time i try....
My system keeps rebooting when i want to install linux.................it tried everything but it allways reboot when the unpacking begins.....................

OK i tried to install linux 4.1 and today i tried whit linux 3.1...............it's the same thing.............it's like it's rebooting after some period of time.............10 min.
-------------------my system-------------------- Intel celeron D 256mb ram ATI radeon............128mb ---------------------------------------------------- if u need more msg me. when istallatione begins it works normally.........for few minutes......................and then it reboots.........it's nothing wrong whit the cd's.............i tried to install in diferent ways.............. |
What is Linux 3.1 and 4.1? Which distribution? How did you burn the disks? Were they bought or burnt?

Well i have pingo linux 4.1 on dvd-disc
and i tried whit pingo linux 3.1 on 4 cd-s any more info????? |
oh they'r burned.............and my friend has the same problem

When you downloaded the software, did you check the md5sums? These will tell you if your download is corrupt. Also, try burning the cd at 4x speed or slower, that often cuts out problems.

Well it's the same thing............burned them minimun speed........everything went ok when i started the instalation.............i set my partiton........any choose the packets.............but it's the same..........it reboots when the packets are unpacking to my HD...................should i try to format my pc and start installing on empty HD???

Do you have the option of doing extensive memory checking ? (like a memory stress-test)
It looks like that at the moment the machine is actually going to DO something (unpacking and copying), it crashes (I assume the screen 'just' goes black and the computer says 'beep', rather than the installer telling it's going to reboot, right?) It could well be that the memory you're using is having issues... |
