Why do we need to install apt-get install root-system-bin ?


Hi,

Please help me with the core reason, and usage of this.

Take a look here: https://packages.debian.org/jessie/root-system-bin
This tells you what the package is about. You can also get a list of files contained and then view their respective man page.

If you have general questions about a specific package go here: https://www.debian.org/distrib/packages then scroll down to the package search section and enter the name of the package.

Try typing the following command in a terminal:

apt-get is a package management tool, you do not need to install it, but it will help you a lot when you want to install any other packages. And it looks like root-system-bin is a difficult case.
