SUCCESS! We've got Evolution working. Just a few moments ago I struck up a conversation while grabbing a cup of coffee with someone who proclaimed to be Linux-savvy. Anyhow to make a long story short, he made a suggestion that sounded stupid but ending up working. For my POP server I entered the username me@site.com and for the SMTP I just used the plain username without the domain, then I went to my mail admin and changed the password for my acct and wallah...all of sudden Evolution connects just fine. So, I want to thank you two for all the help and suggestions., its good to know theres people that will take the time to help a newbie. Thanks, xspy
