You are not giving enough information.
What is your linux distribution?
Where are you getting this problem, are you playing any flash file in browser and it is not able to play it.

Installing chrome provides flash by default.

Added info to plug ins not working

I am using Mint. Everytime I go to play something in a browser I get a message saying I need a plug in. I go to Mozilla and try to update and no can do on any of them.
Thank you I will try Chrome.
