why?
I am trying to install ubuntu 8.04 on my mini-hp notebook using a flash drive. After I have made my bootable usb and run it on my notebook there always seems to be a problem and when i try to restart I get this message:
Invalid partition table what should I do? |
Well, how is this flash drive formatted? invalid partition table means exactly that, the partition table created on whatever drive is invalid.
Also, in the future, try to use more descriptive thread titles. "why?" doesn't tell us shit about your question, thread or exact problem. |

in particular, look at "Comments and Troubleshooting" https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...roubleshooting in particular, the comments at the bottom discussing partitioning of the flash drive Concerning invalid partition tables: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=110708 First create the partitions, then format them to the appropriate filesystem type. |
