Which Proxy Server + Fire Wall and How to?

Hi

I use SuSE 10.3 on a linux box as file/print server running samba.

Now I want to set up a proxy server which will also function as a fire wall.

What is recommended, squid? or something else, and where can I find sufficient documentation to set up the above as I have never set up a proxy.

I'm looking forward to your responce.

Thank you.

Okkie
