Which one is which (Slackware)????

I ordered Slackware from www.linuxcentral.org but Im confused because the price is way different than in the Slackware store.

In Linuxcentral, it said

Cd with Slackware 9.1 (2 CD Set) for $2.00 instead of 4 CD set that I saw on the Slackware store website. ($39.99)

I may have bought the wrong Cds. I dont know, please help me.

the 2 cds you bought prolly contain the slackware base installation, the 2 other cds you find in the store contain some extra software.. you can easily download those softwares from the net.. no worries you'll get your slackware installation cds...

So the CDs that I ordered for 2.00 bucks (From Linuxcentral), does it have the KDE, GNOME desktop and does it contain like Mozilla, GIMP, GCC, etc...

Or, its just an installation?

It's the entire distro, minus source and extras.
Gimp, Mozilla and the rest is all there. It's basically
what you can download as ISO's.

Correct unixfreak.

The CDs you ordered from http://www.linuxcentral.org contain the entire distrobution like Tinkster stated. The entire distro would include KDE, Gnome packages.

Well, the advantage of the WHOLE boxed set
would have been that the money goes into the
development of Slackware rather than to someone
who distributes downloadables of all kinds for his
own merit. ;)

Cheers,
Tink
