Which linux version to use


Hi,
I have very old laptop http://www.notebookreview.com/notebo...ew-pics-specs/

tried to use ubuntu 14.10 but it work so slow, that computer is unusable. What version you suggest to use. Purpose for this computer is reading news sites and watching youtube.

I saw a surprisingly good performance of LXLE (Lubuntu-based) on a very old laptop recently...

Welcome to the forum

Give Lubuntu or Puppy Linux a try. There are many versions of Puppy, so if you like using Ubuntu's repositories, try Precise 5.7.1 or Tahr 6.x.
