Which is the Best in LVM, Integrated Mirror or Integrated Stripping?

Do you mean raid 0 vs raid 1? Why should either be "better"? They serve different purposes.

LVM Logical Volume Manager doesn't have stripe or mirror as billymayday has stated. The benefit of LVM is that you can increase the size of a partition at a later time if you find you are running out of space.

The difference between a raid 0 and 1 or stripe vs mirror, a stripe is faster, and will give you more storage space (if you use the same drives for both arrays) lets say you have two 80gb drives if you stripe them, your system will see a single partition that is 160gb in size. The down fall of a stripe array is when a file/data is written to the drive it is spread between the two drives. Thus if a drive goes bad you lose ALL your data.

A mirror is just that, the two same 80gb drives are a mirror of each other, so your system will only see 80gb for the partition size, it takes a little longer for write time as the file/data is written to both drives. But if you lose one of your drives you will retain all your data.

So if you are into gamming and don't really care about the data stored on your system or you make good backups a Raid 0 would be the way to go. But if you have very important data that you can't lose then a Raid 1 = mirror is the way to go.
