Which distro to pick, Pt2.. Mandriva?

Because of previous responses I tried out Mandriva 2006 64 Bit which was easy to install and use. even the wireless w/ WPA worked......sometimes. The pci card I got is a Hawkings and it works great with windows and because it has a Ralink chipset it appears to work on Linux. But heres the problem, it keeps droping its connection after the 3rd website, then I reboot and it will come on again temporarily. The antenna is in the same room as the WAP and like I said works great on W$,its on the same computer, dual boot. Are there any Mandriva folks out there who could point me in the right direction in solving this "Now u have it now u dont Internet" Thanks again.

Posting two threads about the same topic doesn't help anyone, since then there's not a single thread of discussion and information. You already have one reply in your other thread on this topic; it would help if everyone limits their responses to that thread only.
