I have trying to follow the path below and changing as I feel comfortable. I am currently on Arch 64 bit & loving it. After configuring it is the most stable system I have run so far.

Progressive Changes after converting from Windoze never to return

Ubuntu -->Linux Mint --> Debian Stable --> Debian Testing ---> Arch ---- > Slackware ---> Geentoo --> LFS
---2008--|-2009 -----------| 2010 ------------------------------------|2011 ------ To be determined
