Wheres my folder?

I installed Phex, and I let it save the downloads in the default dir it gave me.

Successfully download a file, but I can't browse that specific folder. I can actually use the file by typing the whole dir but I want to admin that folder and maybe replace it with something more "visible".

Anyone know how to make it appear?

Thanks in advance

Eh?

If you downloaded a file there (You do not say where, or what this directory is called), you should easily be able to "browse" for it.

I see you are using KDE. The problem may be that (k)ubuntu does not put a file-browser on your desktop by default.

I find one very useful. Here's how to make yourself one (in KDE)
R-Click the desktop. Choose
Create New.... Link to application
In the General Tab, click on the blue gear icon. Change it to a better icon (Eg a House)
Instead of calling it Link to application, call it Home
In the Application Tab Set
Description to Home
Comment to Home
Command to konqueror --profile filemanagement
Click [OK]

Now you have a nice new Home icon on your desktop.
Open it
Press F9 until you get a split-pane view.
Click on the red root folder at the very left. You will see all the directories in / in the left pane
Click the blue home icon in konqueror. Now you will see the files in your home directory in the right pane.
Adjust the size of the window to what looks nice to you.
Go to Settings - Save View Profile ... File Manager
Click to Save URLs in profile
Click to Save window size in profile.
Click [OK]

Now you can easily navigate to any directory (folder) that you are allowed access to, and see all your files, (and drag them to other places), and rename them (by R-clicking them) etc.
R-clicking in the R-pane will let you create new directories.
