Where to specify the scanner in the SANE settings?
 

Hello. Where (in which file) can the scanner be specified in the saned or scanimage settings?

The simplest way is to use scanimage -L to find the sane name of your scanner device and then set an environmental variable called SANE_DEFAULT_DEVICE to that name. You can do it in your bash startup files.
