Where to install TVHeadend on an Odroid HC2, running Openmediavault.

I have just bought an Odroid HC2, with a view to installing Openmediavault on it.

I am going to be adding a 6TB WD Red drive for storage and shall be installing OMV on a 32GB SD Card.

There is also a OMV plugin, when installing on an SD card, that stops constant writes and preserving the life of the card.

I also want to install TVHeadend and this has got me wondering whether TVHeadend is going to be prematurely wearing the card out - for example, it is constantly going to be updating the scheduler and I get an EPG update every day.

Does anyone know whether this is going to be an issue?

If it is, is it possible that I can somehow install TVHeadend on the Harddrive instead, so all the updates are not written to the SD card?
