Question Where to get themes, Desktops, Applications, etc...

Well its been three days since installing linux RH v9 and I must say so far im digging it pretty hard. A lot of things are very involved compared to windows and I think that is what is attracting. Anyway what I would like to know is anyone could slap me a few links to change the gui a bit. I used to make themes for Hoverdesk but im not about to assume this is the same.

Im also wondering if the Desktop can be animated, sort like macs OS X interface when you drag your mouse over the icons you create this wave effect. Im to understand that is probably a another application thats needed to be run, but its something I would like to toy with. I dont have any programming knowledge but willing to learn this new world I stepped into.

I installed RH on a dedicated drive and have XP on a seperate drive with GRUB installed for choosing which OS to boot to.

thanxx for any help for the

Whille logging into RH, there is ¨session¨ field. You can choose whether you want to run kde or gnome.

Yes indeed. I'll need to say that using a desktop as gnome is my favorite to, but didn't use KDE that much to say wich is the best

I dunno if this works on linux (try using wine, its a *maybe*) but it works AWESOME on XP, ull like it:

http://www.yzdocklets.com/

Its what you want, and u can drag any icon into and it will go to that shortcut, and also u can add "docklets" which act for a purpose (like a clock or calendar etc)

have fun
