Where to get the Red Hat 7.2 CDs from? (can't download)
 

Hi, I remember this forum as very helpful ;) so...here's the deal:
I took CIS206 (PC architecture and operating systems) course this semester and the second half of it will cover linux OS. The assignments are based on Red Hat 7.2 distribution. I'm wondering if there's any way to order the CDs with this version (or one very similar to it) so that I could learn at home before we start using it.
I live in Illinois and I don't have internet at home yet, so I'd need the CDs (it doesn't come with my textbook).

Be warned: you may have real trouble running such an ancient version on your computer. If you really have to use 7.2, try to get a ~7-8 years old computer.

The basics of Linux haven't changed [B[that[/B] much from the RH 7.2 days. Unless there's a specific requirement you can probably use a modern Red Hat based distro and get what you need. I'd suggest the latest release of the CentOS 3 series (CentOS 3.9). CentOS 3.9 is based of RHEL 3.9 which was itself based off of the Red Hat 7 series, so it should be close to 100% compatible, but with updated packages to fix security problems. Running an old an unsupported distro like Red Hat 7.2 is a major security risk.
