knoppix 5.1
Hi:
Thanks for the link to download Knoppix 5.1; now I have little trouble trying to open the program or better say when I try to reebot the computer with knoppix 5.1 it doesn’t open the program.. it goes to my default os which is XP….I did extract the files to another folder and did another CD, but as I said it does not boot with it, I guess probably that I have to do it bootable ( the file that I downloaded was the ISO file about 600 mb, and onother that I do know what it is but is smaller than the iso about 15 mb), is anything else that I have to do to make work, I would really appreciate if you help me or give a hint, thanks for your help in advance. Knoppix booting problem
Knoppix booting problem
Hi, am me again guys, I problem that I have is the following: after extracting the files for knoppix 5.1, I did try to boot in my computer, but it won’t work. Furthermore, when I boot the computer I press the key F12 to select the Option (boot from CD or DVD) after doing this step it load my default OS which it is Xp-home. What’s more, I did compare the files in that cd with other version of knoppix 4.1 version and it seems to have the necessary files. Finally, I am doing this in my Toshiba laptop which is a P-4. |
You might have to enter BIOS and set the first boot device to cdrom. The F12 shortcut may only be for windows perhaps?
