Where to contribute to software

I have written a couple of mp4 video/movie utilities and would like to know where and how to contribute them.

One is called mp4tags-tk. It is used to edit the tags on mp4/m4v videos.

The second is called Movie-Selector and is used to do just that, i.e. browse through a movie collection, read the movie info from the tags, select a movie by double clicking and launch it in a media player, currently coded for SMplayer.

I have looked around, maybe too superficially but have not found a place to upload the files for the public to use. I don't even know if anyone else will want to use them. I wrote them because I did not find anything available to fill my specific needs.

I would attach the files to this message but am not allowed to do it yet..

Recommend you use one of the free Git repositories.

Sorry but they change so fast I just use what someone tells me to use when they ask our company to send them code. There's Github, Gitlab, to name a few. Just checked and I have a free account on Github where I put some test code once, so try that one.

After you put 'em on github, post the links, so we can try 'em out.

Not github. I chose sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mp4...?source=navbar

Hope that someone finds the programs useful. They really filled a need for me.

I decided on sourceforge. I will update the files occasionally as I find time to make improvements. I will welcome suggestions also. I am not a programming guru by any stretch of the imagination. Thanks for helping me get my brain engaged. I should have though of those myself, but have never contributed code before.
