I have been trying to find 'how to' instructions to install Cinelerra on Centos 5.7 (Final) as well as a repo with a version of Cinelerra that will work on CentOS. I would like to use 'yum' as it should give me all the dependencies. I have heard tale of it being available at ATrpms (RHEL) but having had bad experiences with random installs of this program I would like to find 'how to' instructions tailored to CentOS.
So does anyone know where I can find a version of Cinelerra that will work with CentOS 5.7 (Final) or should I consider another Linux distro?

p.s. I'm a newbie to the forum and will tighten up my profile asap. Thanks in advance.

you won't find specific instructions, you don't need them. As you said, they are on ATrpms, so add their release package and install from yum. easy.


edit - they don't seem to have a release package, so just add the repo manually - http://atrpms.net/documentation/install/
