Question Where is OpenGL

My new Linux installation (Red Hat 8.0) apparently has OpenGL, since I've found gl.h and glu.h in /usr/include/GL. But how do I find the actual OpenGL libraries, and how do I link them? Is there some installation that might need to happen?

a lot of open gl functions are driver-specific for your video card. you can try doing a search on your card name, and see where you can find drivers. chances are very good the info's already on this site somewhere.

Main OpenGL library is It's highly recommended to use accelerated drivers for your video card for OpenGL.
You link it using '-lGL'. In most cases you need more libraries, so you may bneed to use '-lX11 -lglut -lGL-lGLU -lm'
