where is /etc/driveprm
When installing Debian GNU/Linux Woody 3.0 and you're given the choice to make a boot floppy, when you say yes and make the floppy, it tells you to add this line
drive0: deviation=-1600 to this file /etc/driveprm to stop some unnecessary measurement in the future; but that file is not in the /etc directory. In fact, it doesn't seem to exist anywhere. Why does it say this and then the file isn't created? Is it important to do this? NB: I used the Spell Check function, and can you believe it? It doesn't have Debian in the dictionary. So, maybe this is all just some DeadRat conspiracy :D |

If it's not created, then apparently you need to create it yourself and place that line in the file (assuming you want to stop some unnecessary measurement in the future, of course).
