Where do you find ancient distros of Ubuntu?

Amazon's chat person says Prime Video will work with Ubuntu 8.04 but I'm using 15.04 and the Ubuntu website is of no help with past distros. Is Amazon lazy or Ubuntu is really a time machine into the future?

Trying to run Ubuntu 8.04 for the desktop, which reached end of life in four years ago, on a computer with an internet connection, would be to invite serious security problems.

This article might give you some ideas: http://www.howtogeek.com/204319/how-...ideo-on-linux/

In my opinion, the answer to both your questions is "yes".

Hi...

Welcome to the forum :)

If frankbell's (or anyone else's) suggestion doesn't work with your current version, you can find 8.04 here, just click on either of the two entries under "Desktop CD." :)

Regards...

Not to meantion it may not even run if your system is much newer without going through a bunch of hoops.
