I tried that and it DID take me SOMEWHERE. The address automatically changed to http://www.tuxfiles.com/yourgimp/ and I see a ftp type list of pics from someone. But this is NOT the tuxfiles I originally saw. I bookmarked the sight when it worked. I just looked at the bookmark and it is actually www.tuxfiles.org. However, there is it no website associated with it. It was a GREAT site. I can't beleive they discontinued it.

Tuxfiles.org went belly up because its webhost went belly up.

I'm the webmaster of that site and stumbled upon this thread when checking with Google if anyone still links to tuxfiles.org. The story is that I can't afford paid hosting (the webhosts in Finland are expensive, and I can't go with any paid host from some other country because I don't have a credit card) and the only free host that met my needs worked really great for some time, but didn't quite manage and went out of business.

Anyway, the site will be up again. I found a free webhost that doesn't seem as great as the previous one, but it can do until I manage to pay for some hosting.

*sigh*
