Where can I get drivers?

Where can I get drivers for Intel82801 eb and Myson techn. Surecom ep320x-s network interface adapters under ASPLinux 9.2 (Siberia)?

they should apparently work fine out of the box. for the audio, use the snd_i8x0 if you use alsa (which you should be really...) or i810_audio of oss, USB should work with both UHCI and EHCI simultaneously. as for the NIC... not usre, what chipset is it based on? google thnks it might be rtl8139 based, which is a doddle to get running.... is there a chip with a crab on it on the card?

I don't know what is doddle and crab.

Can I install drivers after installing Linux and to appoint IP-address and a masquading without installation of the driver?

acid_kewpie 01-19-2005 07:47 AM

the drivers are probably already on your system, there is no extra installation likely. but without more details about the chipsets the hardware is using, I can't promise anything really.

The ASP Linux installation guide has detected Intel 82801 EB (ich5) PRO/100 Ethernet (integrated adapter) and Myson Technlologies Surecom EP 320x-s (ISA). It suggest some drivers for it (3c509.o, 3c59x.o, 8139cp.o, 8139too.o, 82596.o and others). Installation isn't complete now. Can I shutdown computer now and disassemble it for getting more info about NIC's or may be better continue installation without drivers?
