Where can I download a modem driver for free?

Where can I download a free modem driver for Red hat Linux? Can you suggest a website? My modem is a Conexant soft 56k internal modem.

search for the beta drivers; they are stable enough. Linuxant has a free version too but restricts the conect speed to 14.4k.

Google for hsflinmodem beta

linuxant has a free limited modem (only 14.4kb)

There was a thread sometime ago (post your conexant modem drivers) but all linkshave been deleted.Ifyouread carefullyyou'llbe abletofind it though. (there was alinkto znail and usernameandloginare still there)

HOWEVER: these drivers will not work with kernel 2.6 (as far as I know)

Thanks for your advice. I've seen the website 14.4k is not enough for me.

I've got a copy of the older non-speed-locked version here. Enjoy, but remember, it is an older version, so it may not work or may have other problems. That said, it works for me :D
