Where's the Hardware Info in Ubuntu 9.10

I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 on an older Compaq Evo D310 and can't seem to find the Hardware Information in System/Preferences. Anyone know where it went in this version? Thanks.

I am assuming you have regular UBUNTU, rather than KUBUNTU, or other variants. If that is the case, you might try installing gnome-device-manager. Type the following in a terminal:

sudo apt-get install gnome-device-manager

Or you can start Synaptic and install it that way.

It gets placed at Applications > System Tools > Device Manager

Alternately, try these cmds

lspci
lsusb
lshw

all as sudo
