Where's the file ?

Hi,

okay, so I finally managed to install Windows XP and Fedora Core 3 and am happy with it.
After a stressful 2 hours time I even got online with FC3.
Thanks to my ISP which had server problems and made me think I'm doing things wrong
So, here I am.
And my question is, where did I install Opera to ?
I downloaded it to my desktop and then went to the Konsole, logged in as root and did
Code:
rpm -ivh opera-7.54-20050131.5-shared-qt.i386-en.rpm
then it installed it and said its okay, but where
Ive managed to open it via the konsole but I'd rather have a shortcut or something

Well are you using gnome...kde...fluxbox...xfce...you can't just say "I want to make a shortcut" and expect us to know what window manager you're using. It's different on each system. On recent releases of gnome you can't even edit the menu!

So, what window manager are you using?
