Whats the Easiest Server app 2 Install?

I need to get some of your opinions. What is the easiest server operating system to setup and install? I have been told red hat fedora core, or suse. I have never done this before and I admit I am a complete idiot when it comes to Linux operating systems. :) But, I would like to learn. :study:
Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

Coop

SuSe / Fedora / Debian /(K)(X)(U)buntu, everyone of them will do their job as a server. There are lot's of good howto's for servers !

You might wanna browse:

howtoforge

They have a number of guides on howto setup a server with suse/fedora/debian/ubuntu.. and such. They are good guides to start learning with.

What kind of server do you want to run? What is your target goal?

Web Hosting

Currently, I have a dedicated server through godaddy. Its running red hat fedora core, with plesk 7.5 I have a duel xeon, 500gig hd, 2gig ram computer that is still in the boxes. I want to set it up for hosting all the sites that I currently am hosting on the dedicated machine through godaddy.
What do you think would be the easiest way to set up my own hosting machine and transferring all the sites over to the new machine?

Thanks.

Coop

The distro doesn't really matter, you could use any of them.

As for hosting i'd look into (as in google...) LAMP for the hosting and ftp to get the files from godaddy.
