whats the difference ?, ?

Hey guys.

i have recently moved over to fedora core 1 (from redhat 9)

as instructed by guides on how to install the nvidia driver
i have rpm -e Xfree86-Messa --nodeps

and installed the nvidia driver with the CC variable set and exported, and with the --with-this-kernel parameter.

now i KNOW the install must have been sucessfull because the games
Unreal Tournament
and Quake 2

all work GREAT with openGL

(glxgears runs at over 2000 frames per second)

in redhat 9 there was a command 'glinfo'
that has gone, and was replaced by a 'glxinfo'
which doesnt work because i do not have a

i tired symbolicly linking it to my library, but that does not work,

ALSO, my screen savers do not work, no matter what renderer i set them to use,
they fail with an error about no libGLU

how do i tell my screen savers to use libGL and not libGLU.

also what is libGLU, from what ive gatheres, it seems to be the Mesa version of libGL ??????

anyway, thankS for any help.
