whats is init S?
 
on debian, I run sysv-rc-conf

have init 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and S.

Single user mode, usually used for system admin repairs. Puts you in a single root user environment (command line only; no graphics).

1 too is single user mode.

so why have 1 and S??? what is difference???
