What would cause this error?

Forgive the vague question, but i know next to nothing about linux, and im not even sure this is linux related, but googling the error brought this site up the most.

A client of mine sporadically gets an error:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

It's an isolated incident to that person's computer and it only happens about 20% of the time they try to visit the page. She's using IE 6.0 to visit the site and she doesn't seem to have any anamolies on her comp. that would cause it, she's on the same network as a few people who never have the problem. So I'm fairly stumped....anyone have any idea?

The site is hosted on a linux server and is using dotnetnuke 2.0.

Thanks in advance.

well it's some form of permissions issue on the directory the are trying to access, con't really say much about it, other than to check the access logs on the server for the matching serverside error. no reason to think that it genuinely is sproadic though, unless there's some load balanced back end or something. could just be using a / or not on the end of a url.
