What to install to view Facebook videos?

Hi. I'm on Slackware 64 14.2. I use seamonkey as my web browser, and every time I try to view Facebook videos I get this message that says Flash unavailable. I can view YouTube videos just fine, even in full screen. Even on Facebook. I just can't view those pesky Facebook videos. What should I install to get beyond this message? Thank you in advance for any advice you are able to offer towards solving this.

The YouTubes may be playing under HTML5. Try installing Flash.

Download the latest version for Linux from the Adobe website, decompress it, then, as root, copy libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib[or lib64, depending on your architecture]/mozilla/plugins.

I untarred the archive into ~ and issued a cd into ~/usr and looked for the file. This is what I have:
Code:

michael@caitlyn usr $ ls -R
.:
bin  lib  lib64  share

./bin:
flash-player-properties

./lib:
kde4

./lib/kde4:
kcm_adobe_flash_player.so

./lib64:
kde4

./lib64/kde4:
kcm_adobe_flash_player.so

./share:
applications  icons  kde4  pixmaps

./share/applications:
flash-player-properties.desktop

./share/icons:
hicolor

./share/icons/hicolor:
16x16  22x22  24x24  32x32  48x48

./share/icons/hicolor/16x16:
apps

./share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps:
flash-player-properties.png

./share/icons/hicolor/22x22:
apps

./share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps:
flash-player-properties.png

./share/icons/hicolor/24x24:
apps

./share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps:
flash-player-properties.png

./share/icons/hicolor/32x32:
apps

./share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps:
flash-player-properties.png

./share/icons/hicolor/48x48:
apps

./share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps:
flash-player-properties.png

./share/kde4:
services

./share/kde4/services:
kcm_adobe_flash_player.desktop

./share/pixmaps:
flash-player-properties.png

Could it be this ~/usr/lib64/kcm_adobe_flash_player.so? I couldn't find a libflashplayer.so.

I copied the file there, and for the moment Facebook videos work. Thank you for your help.

It's entirely possible that Adobe has changed the name of the file since the last time I had to install Flash, but I'm glad it's working and thanks for the feedback.

I reinstalled Slackware for the first time today since February. I followed the above advice. I went to the link posted above and selected the file flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64.tar.gz, downloaded and extracted it, and then copied the libflashplayer.so file to /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins. The flash player shows up on my About plugins page in seamonkey. Facebook won't let me watch videos. Do I need to restart seamonkey? I'll try doing that and post back here if it works.

Reloading seamonkey worked. I can now view Facebook videos.
