What predestination of /proc/kcore ?


What predestination of /proc/kcore ? The size of this file is about 50 Mb and it grows.

/proc/kcore is your kernel memory, including the filesystem buffer and cache.

/proc is not a real filesystem and takes no drive space. It merely provides information from the kernel. Do a "man 5 proc" for a technical description.
