what modem to choose

helo can some one tell me a good dialup modem for my computer please
as in xp i use a wanadoo inventel livebox and its not compatable to linux

I don't know right now a good dialup modem for Linux, but make sure it's a HARDWARE modem not a WIN modem [or SOFT modem].

any external serial modem (not all usb are compatible) would be fine
