What is this, and how do i put it in my distro

I'm runnig Fedora Core 4 and saw this on the internet.

I wondered what it was and how would i be able to implement it into Fedora?

looks like xgl.
A friend talked to me about this a few days ago but I don't know anything about it:

It looks pretty overrated to me but hey. Upgrade to Fedora Core 5, it includes AIGLX which is Redhat's answer to Xgl, or close enough to make things easier to explain. Go get 'em tiger...

That is indeed from XGL, from the recently released Kororaa liveCD (http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=kororaa).
I definately recommend checking it out, the fancy cube is just eye candy, but the underlying idea of XGL is that it uses your video card to do all the X rendering, as compared to the CPU and just 2D.
So the basic idea is, it's faster, and uses what's likely already in the computer. The twirly cube and jelly windows are just a neat idea to keep up with other OS's :)
