Hi, if i am using rhel4 or CentOs server as my server, than now i have face one problem is my server are put at server room far from my siting place,so i dont want always walk to server room to control that server(rhel4 & CentOs). I have installed the vnc server software to those two server. I can remote control via vnc viewer from my desktop pc.

1. I remote control via vnc viewer just only know how to remote using gnome, i edit the /~/.vnc/xstartup to add the line & gnome-session & than i can use the GUI(gnome) to control, now if i want to using only command line like tty1,tty2 but via the vncserver how to configure?is it posible on vncserver?

2. i want remote control to my these both server rhel4 & CentOs from my windows xp desktop, what method or service is more suitable? is it using telnet?

Thank you very much.
