Best around is StarterBar, a desklet for gdesklets.
You can try as well Kxdocker or the Enlightenment (DR17) one (can't remember the name), but they're quite more difficult to setup.

kxdocker is pretty good if you use kde. It is kind of time consuming to configure if you don't already use the default apps it picks for you. But if you put in the effort to get it just right it looks great

okay gdesklets

okay i installed gdesklets, and i tried to run it for the first time and i get this error

You're running gDesklets for the first time.
gDesklets will start a requirements check now...

Checking requirements:
- sys ... found
- xml.parsers.expat ... missing
Version check failed.

libexpat version 1.95.7 is broken. Please upgrade!

Please make sure that the required software is installed.
Also try to avoid having multiple versions of a library/binding on your system.
gDesklets won't work if you don't have all necessary dependencies installed
on your system.

What do i do ?> what do i need to install, and could you post the link?? thanks
