What is the best DVD for software

I have Fedora 7 and was hoping to use it as a means of learning Linux. However the majority of answers I get to questions I get suggest, I get a newer edition. I understand that my Fedora has a burner in Nautilus so I should be able to burn it if I make sure I have the right disk. What is suggested? I have looked at the comments and like what I read about Fedora 16?

not sure why you care about the "best" just to burn a single DVD. You can use Nautilus, yes. Usually an option in the right lick menu for the ISO file onces downloaded. Easy enough to just use the command line though really. http://www.andrews-corner.org/burning.html

You definitely don't want an *utterly* obsolete distro like fedora 7 though. Ancient.
