what is the "alt + 1"
my shell is bash , you can type "ctrl+alt+Fn" to change virtual console .then what is the meaning "alt+n"(n like 1,2,3,etc.),who can tell me ,thanks!

it has no default meaning... often used by window managers to switch workspaces though
